Peter Burke is one of the most successful one man bands playing the Irish dance circuit at present, he has toured extensively in Ireland, the UK, America and has been an invited musician on the Caribbean music cruises.
Peter is an accomplished musician who plays a variety of instruments ie: guitars, mandolin, piano, tin whistle and of course piano accordion and keyboards both of which he plays onstage at all of his shows. A song writer who has had songs recorded by a number of fellow musicians such as Johnny Barrett (RIP), Patrick Feeney, Paddy O'Brien, Sean Wilson and Tom Healy. Kevin Collins from Newfoundland has also recorded Peter's Isle of Hope - Isle of Dreams.
Peter has a number of very successful albums to his credit 'The best of Three' is a compilation of the most requested songs from his first 3 Cd's. The ever popular 'From Ireland' Cd and he has a number of singles such as 'The Galtymore' which is to be included on a forthcoming album of all original material from Peter.
Peter first went on the road full time with a band called 'Lucky Numbers' then joined 'Fantasy' , he did a stint with the famous 'Dixies' from Cork, the Johnny Carroll band and toured America with Erin's Ghost, he then took the plunge and went on the road as a one man band back in 1999 and has never looked back.
